If you’re new to the area or really want to know what the Port Coquitlam is all about, mark August 17 in your calendars. There will be a barbecue at the Poco Rec Complex to help you socialize with other community members and educate you on the construction project.
This is an afternoon that will surely keep you busy. The event will have hot dog, burgers, fruit, and water to keep your stomach happy, but make sure to come early because food will only be served until supplies last. While you’re eating, enjoy a local performance from the Backup Poco House Band. To keep you even more busy, there are activities for all ages and free admission to public skating. Bring the family out and get to know people in the community!
